Tonoli was founded in 1960 as a sole proprietorship in the local freight transport sector.
At the end of the 1970s, the company began to growth with the opening of new national and international markets, with a focus on the connection between Italy and the Iberian Peninsula.
Between the 90s and the 2000s, Tonoli expanded its commercial offer by integrating shipping services with logistic outsourcing activities. During the 2000s the company further expanded the range of services offered, guaranteeing the distribution and collection of pallets at European level in 24/48/72.
In recent years, the focus has moved to integrated logistics activities. Tonoli features an area of 60 thousand square meters: investments in cold rooms, semi-automatic warehouses, and the acquisition of new sites guarantee services tailored to the needs of the clients – which range from the food sector, to the railway and automotive industry.
